个人简介


杨健教授,1974年生,江西万载人。1996年及1999年获南昌大学化学学士学位及物理化学硕士学位,2002获中国科学院化学研究所高分子化学与物理博士学位。毕业后于2003年赴美国西北大学生物医学工程系进行博士后研究至2006年,之后就职于美国德克萨斯大学阿灵顿分校生物工程系任助理教授,2011年晋升为终身副教授,2012转至宾夕法尼亚州立大学生物医学工程系任终身副教授,2015年晋升为正教授,2019任宾州州立大学Lloyd & Dorothy Foehr Huck 再生工程讲席教授。2023年7月全职加入西湖大学,任生物材料及再生工程讲席教授。



学术成果


杨健教授专长于可降解生物材料的开发研究及应用,是国际知名生物材料专家。尤其是其在首创的基于柠檬酸化学与生物学的生物材料及发光材料开发理论与应用研究领域卓有建树。近年来杨教授倡导的通过生物材料来调控人体干细胞的代谢和分化领域,在学术界和工业界得到广泛的认可与承认。杨教授开发的生物材料具有广阔的应用前景,目前的主要研究应用方向包括疾病的诊断及治疗,生物传感器,药物释放,医疗器械,及复杂人体组织再生及创伤修复等领域。目前已经在主流学术期刊上发表学术文章150余篇,获得美国授权专利22项及超过100项国际授权专利及专利申请,其中15项专利已转让给多家公司。

杨教授已经荣获多个职业奖项,包括美国自然基金会早期职业研究奖(NSF CAREER AWARD,2010),美国德州大学阿灵顿分校工程学院杰出年青教授奖(2011),美国宾州州立大学工程学院杰出研究奖(2018),当选为美国医学与生物工程院会士(Fellow of American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, 2016),美国生物医学工程协会会士(Fellow of Biomedical Engineering Society, 2020),及美国科学促进会会士(Fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science,2021)。2018年当选为美国国家发明家科学院院士(Fellow of National Academy of Inventor)。杨教授担任生物材料领域顶刊“Bioactive Materials”的共同主编,"Science Advances"的副主编,华人生物材料协会主席(Chinese Association for Biomaterials,CAB)共同创办人及前任主席(2018-2022),2023年获华人生物材料协会杰出领导力及服务奖(CAB Distinguished Leadership and Service Award)。杨教授的专利技术已经转让给多家美国公司,其中基于杨教授开发的新型柠檬酸可降解材料是目前世界上唯一已经获得美国食品及药物管理局(FDA)批准在医疗植入器械上大量应用的可降解热固性聚酯高分子材料。
