学术成果

俞晓春教授长期致力于DNA损伤修复机制和癌症发生发展的研究。众所周知细胞内基因组随时面临着来自体外和体内的各种损伤因素的挑战,如果 DNA 的损伤得不到及时修复,则会导致细胞的细胞周期紊乱、细胞凋亡、癌症发生等等恶性结果。因此,如何正确完成 DNA 的损伤修复并维持基因组的稳定性,对于细胞的存活进而防止肿瘤等重大疾病的发生起着至关重要的作用。因而,与此相关的分子机制研究是 DNA 损伤修复生物学的核心内容,对于肿瘤的诊断、抗肿瘤药物的设计等都具有重要的理论指导意义。其学术成果特别对家族性乳腺癌,卵巢癌,胰腺癌和白血病检测和治疗产生巨大的影响。曾获2006年美国卵巢癌研究协会独立研究员奖,2007年美国癌症研究协会 (AACR)Susan G. Komen乳腺癌学者奖,2008年美国癌症协会(ACS)学者奖,2014年白血病淋巴癌协会学者奖,2018年Tower癌症研究基金会学者奖,2019年胰腺癌联盟转化医学研究奖,2019年Taub癌症研究基金会白血病研究奖。
