Biography
Dr. Haisong Lin is currently serving as an assistant professor at the School of Engineering, Westlake University. He earned his B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Iowa State University in 2016, after which he pursued his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Prof. Sam Emaminejad's Interconnected & Integrated Bioelectronics Laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2016 to 2021, and continued as a postdoctoral researcher in the same group until 2022. From 2022 to 2024, he served as a research assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong and Co-Principal Investigator at Hong Kong Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre. He joined the School of Engineering at Westlake University in June 2024 as an assistant professor, leading the Laboratory of Biochips & Biosensors.

Our team is currently recruiting exceptional doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, undergraduate students, and visiting scholars who are interested in biomedical engineering, chemistry and materials science, mechanical and electronic engineering.
