Biography

Dr. Changxi Zheng received his B.S. degree from Lanzhou University (2004), M.S. degree in materials physics and chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University (2007), and Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from Monash University in Australia (2013). After that, he continued to engage in postdoctoral research at Monash University, and became an independent postdoctoral fellow in 2014. He joined Westlake University in July 2019.

Research

My group at Westlake University aims to develop advanced instrument and methodologies able to A) carry out high-precision quantum measurements and B) manipulate quantum states using multiple probes. We are interested in the investigation of fundamental quantum phenomena, such as quantum entanglement, quantum decoherence and dynamics of quantum phase transitions, from the angles different to the current existing ones.
